Check ratings and reviews
Every review on TTustle is from a real completed job. Read them carefully and look for patterns in feedback before hiring.
Communicate clearly first
Agree on the full scope, price, and timeline in writing before any work begins. Misunderstandings are the biggest cause of disputes.
For home visits
Let someone you trust know when a professional is coming to your home. For large jobs, ask for references or check their completed job history on their profile.
For Pros — Working Safely
Get the job in writing
Always confirm the job scope and payment terms before starting work. Screenshot or save your conversation with the client as a reference.
Payment best practices
Never start significant work without a deposit for large jobs. Be clear about your payment method and timeline before you begin.
Red flags to watch for
Be cautious of clients who ask you to work outside the platform, offer unusually high pay for simple tasks, or pressure you to start immediately without discussing terms.
When visiting clients
Share your location or plans with someone you trust before attending a new job site, especially for first-time clients in unfamiliar areas.
Our Platform Safety Measures
- Identity verification: Pros must submit government-issued ID before being marked as verified. Our team reviews all submissions manually.
- Account monitoring: We actively monitor for suspicious activity, fake profiles, and fraudulent job listings.
- Report system: Every profile and job listing has a report button. Reports are reviewed by our team within 24 hours.
- Banning: Accounts found to be fraudulent, abusive, or in violation of our Terms are permanently banned with no appeal for severe offences.
What We Cannot Do
TTustle facilitates connections but is not present at job sites. We cannot mediate disputes about service quality, guarantee that a job will be completed, or process refunds for payments made directly between users. If you experience a serious issue, contact us and we will investigate — but we strongly encourage both parties to communicate directly first.
